“Woodikkul Pine”

At this time in my life, yeah, if I remember right, it was in 2020. I had also adventured maybe beyond my means, especially with studying. These were my first more so-called tracks of “American Opera.” I was singing strange opera, it was very fantasy-adventure and self-exploration driven. Yeah, When you rock, you get through difficulties.

Also, I happened to do tribal-style storytelling around a character I named “Hahkwiskuin.” The name came to me one weird night before bed. I thought of my self as that name but in a context of a spiritual path experience outside of my normal everyday commute. I explored vocal wind sounds and was determined to use them as enjoyable music. I still haven’t fully nailed it, except maybe on my 11 performances on YouTube, and even then a was a bit exotic.
I was never determined, to be the coolest thing with music. I always aimed for a mix of rock, & entirely unique for originality and inspirational music.

“? Sea Lad ?”

This album came during a time in 2020. I stayed very active to cope and keep myself occupied. This was a very hard transitional time for me; I was basically lost at sea. I kept telling myself, “I’m doing this right.” I felt like I had a lot to live up to. I purchased kits and exclusive beats from Mini Producer. I thought I nailed it, but only a couple of the songs actually came out great. I was in the ruff back then still chasing the far green.

This period also helped produced the song “This Octopus Cross.” I lost a lot of artwork, and I thought someone retrieved the lost art right before I went back to get it. So yeah, a very strange, highly detailed art piece may still be out there somewhere. I was also deeply studying advanced mathematics and a lot of college material at the time. Though overall, I mostly aimed toward fantasy. Hold on to your hats &  rock on, lads.

APRINCUS DUCAZON

Being inspired by adventure in the 80-2000’s, I found my self exploring intellectual odd balls, un answered questions. The goal was to have a wide portfolio, variety. The inspiration of Wizard books, and all the movies, plus my country and rock roots showed in the framework. For ppl that careless and stick to entertainment experience this was a well put together story line. The tracks invoked strange curiosity. The middle had a dark singing mirror that haunted me. The intro sounded like it was a wizard movie theme. The last song was a dark wizard battle with me playing both villain & hero which I never thought would be so odd. This was the darkest if only darkest album I had ever done. Rock Rock On Loves.

CASBODOAH – The Jungle-Ant-Primitive Album

This stemmed from before 2020 era, going all the way back to when I was a kid and my parents had family VCR movie-and-pizza tradition evenings. I remember my first strange movies being The Terminator and The Wizard of Oz. Later came so many more movies and all types of toys. Well, that became a major part of the framework and drive behind all my art. Teachers and peers also had us kids, from young to old, building creative journeys.

I found myself lost in wonder, including gaining around the same weight as an ape. The ape thing was new to me. I had only tripped out thinking about being monkey-like before, so I sort of explored that wonder. It led me to watching ants outside, looking like they were having an angry, mass war. They just happened to be outside at the time.

I explored concepts of insect, energy, psychology and biology. I also thought about apes having hidden superpowers, like secret sound effects to deal with nature. I became “the ape” for a while. I didn’t just throw in the towel I kept the lid on the trash can.

After the album “DOYVENKROYF,” I decided I wanted this project to become a collection of all my 2020 type of songs that explored strange tones while still being somewhat entertaining. Depending on the season and the listening device, this album goes from 2020 to downright sci-fi and entertaining. The ape figure also came from me over-listening to The Kinks and their song Apeman, starting around 2011 most likely.

The first version of this album was “The Dark Wizard of the Winter Forest.” It was one of the first pieces where I played drums myself. The intro was a wizard whispering to himself while walking through a blizzard, with drums going behind him. The outro was the song “Wumbrusk.”

It also had a track that I remember was—or was going to be—called “The Sweet Treats of Fur Ants,” or at least included “Fur Ants” in the title.

Rock rock on, people.
